Portal Rebuild Planning
A structured planning engagement that turns a fragile portal into a sequenced rebuild roadmap with ownership, cutover windows, and explicit non-goals.
Who this is for
Portal Rebuild Planning is for product owners, engineering leads, and programme sponsors who already know the current portal is expensive to change, yet cannot pause the business long enough for a reckless rewrite. Typical clients manage member portals, partner extranets, or internal service desks that grew through years of urgent patches.
Result you should expect
You receive a rebuild roadmap that names what stays, what retires, and in which order cutovers happen. The document is written for finance, operations, and delivery teams—not as a slide deck of aspirations.
Scope included
- Inventory of current portal surfaces, integrations, and known failure points
- Stakeholder interviews with the people who operate and depend on the portal
- Architecture options with trade-offs stated in plain language
- Rebuild sequence with dependencies, freeze windows, and rollback notes
- RACI for cutover weekends and a list of explicit non-goals for the first release
Excluded
Implementation coding, hosting procurement, and ongoing retainer support are outside this engagement unless separately agreed. We may recommend vendors; we do not run their contracts.
Provider and process
App Brook Base consultants facilitate the sessions and author the roadmap. A typical flow:
- Brief intake and document request list
- Half-day discovery in Taipei or by video
- Architecture workshop with your technical leads
- Draft roadmap review
- Final roadmap and open-question log
Preparation
Bring current architecture diagrams if they exist, a list of critical integrations, recent incident notes, and the business calendar constraints that govern cutovers. Incomplete materials are fine; we will say what is missing.
Constraints
We schedule around Taiwan business hours. Multi-site stakeholder groups may extend the timeline. If legal or procurement locks a vendor early, we document that constraint rather than pretending it does not exist.
Pricing basis
Fixed project fees usually start at NT$180,000, depending on portal surface area and number of stakeholder groups. Larger programmes are quoted after the scoping call.
Next step
Request a briefing with a short description of the portal under pressure. We reply within two business days with availability.
